Why do you play tennis?
Van Rooy- I play tennis because it’s a really enjoyable sport and it’s something I love. I love the team chemistry and the way we all support each other.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Van Rooy- I’ve always loved Charleston and would love to live there someday. I love it there because of the beauty and architecture it has.
What’s your biggest pet peeve?
Van Rooy- My biggest pet peeve is when people chew with their mouth open. I think it can be rude and disrespectful.
What superpower would you want?
Van Rooy- I want to be able to fly because then I could go anywhere, anytime.
What’s your favorite subject in school?
Van Rooy- My favorite subject in school is anatomy. I love learning about the human body and I want to be a nurse so it really interests me.
Who’s been your favorite teacher?
Van Rooy- My favorite teacher has been Mr. Rushka. I had him my junior year for algebra 2 and he was just really funny and nice.
What are you most excited about for tennis?
Van Rooy- I’m excited for the matches we have and I’m excited to improve my skills. I love the team itself and it’s always a really fun time.
What’s your favorite sport to watch?
Van Rooy- my favorite sport to watch is tennis because I know what’s going on and it can get super intense.
If you could meet anyone who would it be?
Van Rooy- I would want to meet Ian somerholder because he’s one of my favorite celebrities.
What J-Term did you pick?
Van Rooy- I picked to do an internship because I am going to shadow a few different nurses and doctors. I picked this because I want to be a nurse and being in an actual hospital setting is really cool for me.
What’s your dream job?
Van Rooy- My dream job is to be a labor and delivery nurse. I’ve wanted to be this for a super long time. My mom is a nurse and I’ve grown up hearing stories and learning from her so it’s always been an interest of mine.
What’s your go to restaurant?
Van Rooy- Bibibob is my go to restaurant. I love Asian food and it’s always fast and easy.
What’s your dream vacation?
Van Rooy- My dream vacation is to go to Fiji one day. I’ve always wanted to go there and it seems super pretty.
What’s your favorite animal?
Van Rooy- My favorite animal is a dog. I love dogs and I’ve always grown up with dogs so I’ll definitely have a few when I’m older.
What’s your favorite season?
Van Rooy- My favorite season is summer because it’s warm and there’s no school!
If you could have any pet what would it be?
Van Rooy- If I could have any pet I would have a dog. I think dogs are very loyal and great companions!
If you could be in any show/movie what would it be?
Van Rooy- If I could be in any show or movie I would want to be in White Lotus. The show is really good and exciting.
If you could swap lives with someone for a day who would it be?
Van Rooy- I would swap lives with Kendal Jenner because her life seems really entertaining and she’s always doing stuff.
What is the best part about being a twin?
Van Rooy- My favorite part about being a twin is always having a best friend and someone I can rely on!
What is something on your bucket list?
Van Rooy- Something on my bucket list is to travel around the world as much as I can. I love to travel and I love visiting new places.
