What’s your favorite childhood memory?

Hovanec – “From kindergarten until sixth grade I walked to school everyday.”

 

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Hovanec – “I would go on tour with Taylor Swift as one of her backup dancers for her international tour so I can see the world.”

 

 What’s your all-time favorite book or movie?

Hovanec – “My all time favorite movie is Last of the Mohicans, because I like historical things and there is a love story and I am a sucker for that stuff, too.”

 

Do you have any unique things about you?

Hovanec – “I have 7 Christmas trees at my house and one of them is all Star Wars ornaments.”

 

What’s something that always makes you laugh? 

Hovanec – “Pet shaming videos “

 

If you could meet any historical figure, who would it be and why?

Hovanec – “Rosa Parks because I’d like to know how it felt to take a stand…or sit.”

 

What’s a skill you’d love to master someday?

Hovanec – “Double unders” (Cross-fit reference)

 

What’s your favorite meal?

Hovanec – “A Cuban sandwich. It’s sooo good.”

 

Are you more of an introvert or extrovert?

Hovanec – “Extrovert who likes to stay home and not talk to people.”

 

What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?

Hovanec – “At age 30, I packed 2 suitcases and went to live with a random family in Mexico.”

 

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and how would you use it?

Hovanec – “Invisibility and I would use it to sneak into places I am not supposed to be (Taylor Swift concert).”

 

What’s your favorite season and why?

Hovanec – “Spring because that’s when tulips bloom and I love tulips and my birthday is in the spring.”

 

What motivates and inspires you the most?

Hovanec – “I always want to give 100%. I don’t want any regrets that I didn’t work hard enough. I always keep the pedal to the metal.”

 

Do you prefer sunrise or sunset?

Hovanec – “Sunrise because I am a morning person.”

 

What’s your favorite way to relax and unwind?

Hovanec – “I like to lay on the couch and watch TikToks.”

 

Are you more of a planner or do you prefer to go with the flow?

Hovanec – “I am a planner.”

 

What is your favorite part of being at Cathedral?

Hovanec – “I love that I teach at a school where we can share faith and pray together cause in the hard times that means a lot.”

 

If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would they be?

Hovanec – “Alexander Hamilton, Princess Diana, and Moses. Imagine the conversations we would have”

 

What’s your favorite Taylor Swift song and way?

Hovanec – “I want to say Miss Americana and the Heartbreaker Prince. I’m going to go with that.”

 

What do you want to do when you retire?

Hovanec – “I want to work at Costco and cook rotisserie chicken.”
