Face Off: Tampa Bay will win the Super Bowl

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are underdogs in this year’s Super Bowl, as the Kansas City Chiefs are favored by three points. However, it isn’t crazy to think that the Buccaneers could pull off the upset.

They have one of the NFL’s most dangerous offenses, led by Tom Brady, who is considered by many to be the greatest quarterback of all time. Brady has already won six Super Bowls as part of his prolific 20-season NFL career, so I have a hard time counting him out.

Brady also has a great supporting cast of wide receivers, tight ends, and running backs, including three-time Pro Bowler Mike Evans, five-time Pro Bowler Rob Gronkowski and Leonard Fournette, who has been a big contributor in the playoffs.

The Buccaneers also boast one of the league’s top defenses, as they allowed the least amount of rushing yards per game this season. The defense could be at an advantage on Super Bowl Sunday, when the Chiefs are expected to be missing at least one, and possibly up to three starting offensive linemen.

If these key players on the Chiefs’ offensive line do not play, then the Buccaneers’ defense will have opportunities to get to the quarterback, and rack up some sacks. Jason Pierre-Paul, the team’s leader in sacks with 9.5, could be a key component to the Buccaneers victory.

Although the Chiefs may be favored in this year’s Super Bowl, do not count out the Buccaneers. They have the talent across the field needed to pull off the upset and win Tom Brady his seventh Super Bowl ring.
