StuCo releases Homecoming assembly schedule
Event will take place in the Welch Activity Center
The Welch Activity Center will be the site of the Irish 500 on May 20.
A crucial part of the Homecoming Week is the assembly and pep rally, which will take place Sept. 24 in the Welch Activity Center.
Student Council moderator Mrs. Kim Jamell works with the Student Council and other staff members to plan these events. Covid has affected Homeoming Week this year, but there are some positives, including the ability for the entire student body to gather for the assembly, but with masks mandated.
Activities for the assembly will include the performance by the cheerleaders, the Minute to Win It contest, Latin Dance, speeches by the two leprechauns, the introduction of the Homecoming court, the announcement of the winner of the spirit stick and talks from teachers.
The assembly will start at 1:50 and will conclude near the usual dismissal time of 3:15 p.m.
