The preview night featured performances from the middle school show choir Lucky Charms and the high school show choir Irish Adrenaline. Family members, friends, and educators filled the theater to support performers and celebrate the hard work the students have put into their season. Lucky Charms performed first, followed by Irish Adrenaline, which ended the night with a powerful message.
“I really loved the energy of the night,” said Addison Bethel ‘28, a new member of Irish Adrenaline. “Performing with my close friends and meeting new ones made me feel less nervous and way more excited to be on stage.”
Lucky Charms opened the evening with their set titled “Endless Summer.” Their performance focused on fun, friendship, and the excitement of summertime. The group brought smiles to the audience with their upbeat music and joyful expressions. Many audience members applauded and laughed along as the younger performers confidently filled the stage.

After a brief transition, Irish Adrenaline took the stage to perform their competitive set “BraveHearts.” The set highlight four influential women- Rosa Parks, Marie Curie, Amelia Earhart, and St. Joan of Arc. Each character represented courage, strength, and leadership. The performance emphasized the message that women are powerful and capable of creating change.
“This show represents courage and confidence,” said Marian Bender, Director of both show choirs. “These students have worked incredibly hard and tonight was about sharing their growth, teamwork, and love for performing.”
The theme of “BraveHearts” connected strongly with the audience, especially as Cathedral celebrates 50 Years of Women. Emotional moments throughout the performance caused many audience members to tear up, while others watched in silence, clearly moved by the message. At the end of the set, Irish Adrenaline received a standing ovation from the packed theater.
The night was also meaningful for the seniors, as it marked one of their final performances at Cathedral. Senior night allowed the audience to recognize the dedication and commitment these students have shown throughout their years in show choir.
“Being a senior in Irish Adrenaline has meant more to me than I can explain,” said Gabrielle Wells ‘26. “This group has shaped who I am, and ending my time here with a show that celebrates strong women makes it unforgettable.”
