Information for the “All Out Day of Giving” was spread around on flyers, but also shared on various Cathedral social Media accounts.

Tomorrow, Thursday, April 27, is Cathedral’s “All Out Irish Day of Giving.” It is used as a day to raise funds for various projects at Cathedral.

Many schools have specific days where the focus is on supporting the institution, or the school. The 5th annual “All Out Irish Day of Giving” is Cathedral’s day to receive support through donations. Cathedral will be accepting online donations through boostmyschool.com until Friday, April 28th.

On April 27, Cathedral will encourage school spirit by hosting the Senior Mass, and have an all out Irish Spirit Machine. These events will be hosted by the new junior leprechauns: Isabel Gonzales, Louis Dozer, and Meghan O’Connor. Students will also be encouraged to spread the word of All Out Irish Day by sharing their story concerning fond memories from The Hill, and they will also be encouraged to show their Irish Pride. This includes wearing green and gold for the entire day.

Mrs. Abbe Ernstes, Senior Director of Philanthropy,  said, “You’ll have to come check it (Irish Spirit Machine) out, in between classes and at lunch.”

These events will allow Cathedral to raise money for the many various projects around the school. For example, the new health and wellness center, the performing arts studio, a multi-purpose field for soccer and lacrosse at Brunette Park, tuition assistance, and whatever various needs Cathedral will have.

“You can go to gocathedral.com/alloutirish for more information concerning donations,” said Ernstes.
