“Zombieland: Double Tap”

Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock are back for another action-packed adventure in “Zombieland: Double Tap.” The sequel to “Zombieland” generates a familiar vibe with new twists for its time on the silver screen. Building upon the first film this sequel incorporates more action, jokes and, of course, zombies.

The film begins 10 years after the first one with Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock now living in the White House. However, the girls leave after Columbus attempts to propose to Wichita, which freaks her out.

After a few months, Wichita returns to seek the help of Tallahassee and Columbus after Little Rock runs off with a hippie named Berkeley. They set out to find her and meet along the road Madison, Nevada, Albuquerque and Flagstaff. Their new journey now begins with more blood, guts and gore to satisfy your zombie related dreams.

The film is enjoyably fun and a worthy successor to the first movie. The highlight of the film is Woody Harrelson as Tallahassee, who delivers some of the best jokes and action of the film. The movie is by no means an artistic masterpiece; however, it does the job that any movie should do: It entertains. The film is well made adopting great writing, soundtrack and effects into its repertoire.

“Zombieland: Double Tap” is a delightful film, and whether you’re a fan of the original or not, it’s well worth a watch.
