I unfortunately had the pleasure of attending the Roncalli vs. Cathedral game this past weekend. It was so cold. I thought I got frostbite and the game wasn’t even close. We ended with the score being 42-0, and at a certain point there should be a run rule. Especially when the weather is terrible like it was on Friday.
For those of you who fortunately weren’t at the game on Friday, I’ll explain the Cathedral Tweets from that game:
Okay so I’m pretty sure Aden Chase is on our team. But, I’ll check my sources. So, basically this means that Aden caught a rogue ball and ran 23 yards. The next bit is confusing. I don’t know what a hit is. Let’s assume it’s a slap. Danny O’neil slapped Davaughn Slaughter on the 27 yard line. Then, we got a touchdown. Kristoff pat. What does PAT mean? Due to his PAT we were then in the lead from 28-0.
Now I know the special teams include Luke Spencer. So Luke and his team got the ball. Yay Luke! Kyle Braun blocked it and gave it to Hosia? Hosia then got a touchdown. Then, of course Kristoff comes in for the PAT.
Questions:
- Why do we have the little person run through the big people? (pictured below)
- Can we instate a run rule?
The picture below demonstrates the play where the smaller person runs through all the big people and gets tackled.
