Signs posted throughout the campus promote the upcoming talent show.

From singing to dancing or playing an instrument, your skills can be showcased at the annual talent show in the auditorium on Thursday, May 19 at 7 p.m.

“We are hoping this talent show will be our big comeback since Covid,” said Mrs. Kim Jamell, Student Council co-moderator. This will be the first time in three years during which there is no limit on how many people can watch the performances in person.

“Everyone is welcome to come and showcase their talent; there are no cuts as long as you respect the Cathedral standards,” Jamell said. After all auditions are submitted, students will vote on their favorites. The top three acts will perform at the Irish 500 in the Welch Activity Center.

“Nobody is cut. Everyone is allowed to come and is encouraged to come show their talent,” Jamell said. If you’re interested in showcasing your talent make sure your auditions are turned in by May 6 to Room 3303. In order to submit an audition, students should pick up and application from her in Room 3303. Each act also will be expected to submit an audition video.

Jamell said, “Practice, do your very best and I am excited to see what everyone can do, and good luck to everyone.”
