The choir hopes to perform in a slightly less formal setting on Carb Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Students, family and faculty are encouraged to vote for the Cathedral choir to sing at the 500 Miller Lite Carb Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The Miller Lite Carb Day is an event that takes place on May 24 and is considered one of the final kick offs before the Indianapolis 500. The event combines racing with rock music and will be held during the final practice before the race.

Rock band Foreigner will headline the event, and members of the Cathedral choir are in the running for a special student performance. In an email, choir director Mrs. Marian Bender wrote, “You get one vote per day and we are up against large schools, so please share with your friends and families. Thank you for helping us win.”
