Not all the action was on the field during the football team’s Sectional championship win over Decatur Central.

As of 10:28 a.m. on Nov. 15, pre-sale tickets for the Class 5A Regional championship football game against New Palestine are sold out in the school’s athletics office.

According to a tweet on the Cathedral athletics account, tickets can still be purchased starting at 5:30 p.m. The gates will open at 5:40 p.m. at New Pal’s field.

In an email with New Pal’s head coach, Mr. Kyle Ralph, he noted that “Cathedral is a really well coached and talented football team once again this season. Coach Peebles and I have known each other for quite a few years now and he has them playing at an extremely high level, which I knew he’d do.:

Ralph said his team has prepared to play the Irish and the game presents what he called an incredible challenge. “When two high level football teams play, not making critical errors is key, I am sure both teams are going to be looking to limit those problems to be successful,” he said.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at New Pal’s Kelso Field.
