The Irish softball team is coming off a 24-9 season last spring under Head Coach Mr. Tony Matthews and Assistant Coach Mrs. Linda Bamrick. Ms. Kathleen Byers ’14 also has joined the coaching staff. 

Last season’s major highlights included a City championship with a win over Scecina, a Sectional and Regional title and a return to the Semistate. 

The team is led by four-year varsity member senior Lily Jennings and four other seniors, Katie Carr, Abbie Dalton, Katherine Gallagher and Ellie Morse. 

Jennings will attend DePauw next fall, and junior Grace Lorsung is committed to play at the University of Illinois. Junior Mia Dittoe with play at the College of Charleston.
