Athletics Director Mr. Rick Streiff has released the schedule for the week of Jan. 28. Key events are listed, with the complete schedule available on the athletics website.

Streiff wrote in an email that the women’s basketball schedule will change if school is canceled on either Jan. 3 or Jan. 31 or both days. If that occurs, updated information will be posted.

Jan. 30: The women’s varsity basketball team begins the first round of the Class 4A Sectional at 6 p.m. in the Welch Activity Center against Arsenal Tech.

Jan. 31: The women’s swimming Sectional preliminaries begin at 6 p.m. at North Central.

Feb. 1: The second round of the Sectional for women’s basketball will be played in the Welch Activity Center, with games at 6 and 7:30 p.m. 

Feb. 2: The varsity wrestling team will compete in the Regional tournament at Pendleton Heights. The men’s freshman basketball team will host an Invitational tournament at 9 a.m. against Center Grove, Lafayette Central Catholic and Richmond. The championship game of the women’s basketball Sectional will be played at 7:30 p.m. in the Welch Activity. The women’s diving Sectional is at 9:30 a.m. at North Central, followed by the women’s swimming Sectional finals at 1 p.m. at North Central.
