The sophomores participated in a balloon activity, competing against another group. The teams competing against each other are attempting to clear all the balloons from their section, and get them on the opponent's side in order to win. Sophomore Daphne Hernandez said, “I really enjoyed the sophomore unity activities. They were very team engaging and a fun experience.I especially liked the guest speaker since he was very well spoken and enthusiastic.”

Brownlow and Beeson pose for a picture after Saturday’s meet where they qualified for the 2025 Nationals Speech and Debate Tournament. The Tournament will be held from June 15 to June 20 in Des Moines, Iowa. Brownlow said, “During the summer I will continue practicing my speech, incorporating performative elements as well that will help my speech resonate more with my audience. Most importantly, however, I want to approach each round and day with a fresh and new perspective, regardless of what happened the day or round before.”
