Why did you choose to apply to Cathedral? I love the Catholic identity and the Holy Cross values that Cathedral High School offers. I also am excited to be part of a school with such a rich history and ongoing pursuit of academic and extracurricular excellence.

Describe your professional experience prior to Cathedral: I have been a school counselor for 23 years, including 13 years at St. Theodore Guerin High School. For the past three years, I served as director of career pathways for Republic Airways and LIFT Academy, where I helped promote aviation careers and facilitated related opportunities for K-12 students.

This year’s Cathedral theme is Excellence. How will you carry out this goal? I will always give my best effort and work extremely hard to the serve the students, families and co-workers at Cathedral. I hope to be a caring and compassionate member of the community and will strive to live out my Christian faith by emulating the teachings of Christ our Savior. Through the grace, strength and blessing from God, I will be a living example of excellence in all that I do.

What are your professional and personal goals at Cathedral this year? My personal and professional goals are to grow in my faith and knowledge of the Catholic Church and to justly serve students, families and co-workers. I hope to become an important and valuable member of the community while challenging and supporting others in our pursuit of excellence.

What is an interesting fact about you that students would be surprised to know? I was an all-State cross-country runner in high school.
