Thankful for: Twitter
This year, we have a lot to be thankful for. We also have some things not to be thankful for, such as that one awkward uncle coming to dinner. And to avoid awkward confrontation with this said uncle, the best thing to do is pick up your phone and go on to Twitter.
Twitter is something I’m definitely thankful for. The best part of the Thanksgiving season is by far the Thanksgiving clap backs we have to look forward to. Aside from the glory that are the seasonal tweets, we have more hilarity on our dashboard all throughout the year. How else am I supposed to survive without bottle flipping videos, election memes and some killer makeup tutorials?
Aside from the humor, you could look at the news. If you’re into that kind of stuff. Most of us are done with the Donald and ya girl Hillary. What other way is there to spend Thanksgiving? Sure, eat the dinner your grandma burned, avoid the creepy uncle, try to survive sitting at the kids’ table despite being 10 years older than everyone else, maybe sneak off to watch some silly shows you’ve already watched on Netflix (Evan, once again, is wrong) and then do what you really want to. Sit down and drink Oolong tea and watch the shade fly on Twitter.
