On Feb. 15 during flex, the five wrestlers headed to the State meet at Bankers Life Fieldhouse were feted in an all-school assembly in the Welch Activity Center. Former wrestling Head Coach Mr. Lance Rhodes provided some historical background for the five wrestlers and the seniors lined up to offer words of encouragement as team members and managers boarded the bus. The wrestling team will defend its 2018 State title on Feb. 15 and Feb. 16, with the finals getting underway at 7:30 p.m. on the final evening of the two-day meet.
