The library will be a quiet study area during final exams. Students used the library during B period on Nov. 30.

If you’ve ever been asked in the library to keep it down, you might want to find another place to go during finals week.

But with finals Dec. 18 to Dec. 21, the librarian Mrs. Jenny Herron that issued a reminder that the library will be a quiet zone. This means that no talking will be permitted so that the facility is available for studying. This silent zone will include the Baker board room, focus booth, COLAB and any other study place in the library.

Even with the the school dismissing early on the final exam days, the library hours will remain the same: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17 through Thursday, Dec. 20 and on Friday, Dec. 21 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

However, the silent zone will be rescinded after the G period final on Dec. 21. Herron said at this point the Christmas music will be cranked up as the two-week vacation begins.
