After a week of collection, 1,588 boxes of cereal were donated to the Dayspring Center. This campaign was coordinated by sophomore Will A’Hearn and juniors Victoria Gallant and Sarah Kent. Math teachers collected boxes from their students and provided an extra incentive by granting bonus points for those donations.

Gallant continued the tradition of collecting cereal after her brother, Alex, started it four years ago. “Alex did it the first year and then my older brother, Griffin, was in charge of the past two years,” Gallant said.

A’Hearn and Kent became involved after Will’s older brother also helped. Sarah volunteers with Victoria at the Dayspring Center, a facility on Central Avenue that provides services for the homeless.
