Delta Epsilon Phi National Honor Society for High School of German recognizes the academic achievement of learners of German.

The organization was founded in 1968 by Käthe Wilson at Coral Gables High School. Wilson sought to reward scholastic achievement in the study of German and to promote interest in the study of German language, literature and civilization, according to Mr. Josh Payne, German teacher and Delta Epsilon Phi faculty moderator.

To be inducted, students must have completed three semesters of German with a 3.6 grade point average in German and have an overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

The following students were inducted on May 15: Sophomores Joseph Burger, Clare Bielefeld, Nicholas Drehs, Jacob Graff, Sarah Hoffman, Rose Meyer, Joel Smith, Corinne Veazie; juniors Drake Mossman, Brendon Vail, Benjamin Wilson; seniors Abigail Bailey, Ellie Baumgartner and Georgia Mudd.
