Baseball team to open Sectional play May 24
Team moves up to second in Class 4A poll
The Irish baseball team will take on Mount Vernon in the Sectional on May 24 at Warren Central.
The varsity baseball team has moved up to second in this week’s Class 4A state poll. Head Coach Mr. Ed Freije’s Irish are 17-0 as of May 9 and are scheduled to begin Sectional play May 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Warren Central against Mount Vernon.
Other teams playing in the Sectional at Warren include the host Warriors as well as Arsenal Tech, Lawrence Central and Lawrence North.
