Camila Jackson, Executive Editor
Camila Jackson is a junior and Executive Editor for the Irish Connection Media Network. Camila is interested in telling stories about clubs, school events, students with interesting hobbies/awards, and any outside news. When not covering stories for Cathedral, Camila enjoys playing tennis and reading, as well as spending time with her family. Camila hopes to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry.
Mary Murphy, Executive Editor
Mary Murphy is a senior and Executive Editor for the Irish Connection Media Network. Mary is interested in telling stories about all of the happenings on the Hill, especially sports and the club Champions Together. Mary is the school mascot (Leprechaun), swim captain, and president of Champions Together at Cathedral. When not covering stories for Cathedral, Mary enjoys swimming, hanging out with friends, traveling, and going on mission trips. Mary hopes to pursue a career in Special Education with the intent to get her Masters degree.
Ben Kauffman, Reporter
Ben Kauffman is a member of the junior class and is a reporter for the Irish Connection. Ben is interested in telling stories about the Cathedral Irish athletic teams. Ben is a member of the Irish Golf team. Outside of Cathedral, Ben plays golf and enjoys watching sports with friends. After Cathedral, Ben hopes to continue covering stories around the sporting world.
Yackelin Castro, Reporter
Yackelin is a sophomore reporter for the Irish Connection Media Network. Yackelin is interested in telling stories about important upcoming events and dates. When not covering stories for Cathedral, Yackelin enjoys reading, tennis, going on walks, and spending time with family and friends. Yackelin hopes to pursue a major in business at IU Indianpolis.
Jennifer Velazquez, Reporter
Jennifer Velazquez is a sophomore reporter for the Irish Connection Media Network, with a deep passion for storytelling that spans sports, the arts, and personal narratives. When she’s not covering stories, Jennifer enjoys reading, going outside, playing the piano, and traveling with her family. She has set her sights on attending the University of California, Berkeley, where she plans to pursue a major in law, architecture, or writing.
Yohali Castro, Reporter
Yohali Castro is a high school junior reporter for the Irish Connection Media Network. Yohali is interested in telling stories about student life/interests and Cathedral social events. When not covering stories for Cathedral, Yohali enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, as well as occasionally playing soccer with her friends. Yohali hopes to pursue a biology major in her future. Yohali hopes to go to a college somewhere far on the east or west coast.
