The talent show at Cathedral High School has been going on for years and years. It’s a nice way to bring the school year to an end. It allows students to show off their talents and have fun while performing for their peers and teachers.
As the year comes to a close with Final Exams, it’s a good way for the students to go and watch some wonderful talent from their friends. Like the previous years, it is occurring on the night before the Irish 500. This year, that will be May 16th.
At the talent show there are multiple talents that are performed by approximately 11-15 students. Participating students in the show exhibit such talents as performing in a band together, dancing, specifically Irish dancing is popular, singing, and there have even been some magicians.
After the talent show ends, the audience gets to vote for their favorite performance. The top 2-3 winners perform their talent the next day at school during the Irish 500 assembly. Their performances take place before the Irish 500 race begins. Thursday, May 16th at 7:00, mark your calendars to come and support your fellow classmates’s talents at the talent show in Cathedral’s theater. Mr. Cannaday, who oversees the Talent Show, said, “You should come at 7:00, it’s a lot of fun.”
