All seven seniors who were named National Merit Semifinalists now have been recognized as National Merit Finalists.

Those seven individuals, Andrew Brennan, Will Hagenow, Anika Kansky, Rachel Kent, Keegan MacDonell, Maddy Martin and Stephen Vukovits, took the PSAT during their junior year and scored in the top one half of one percent of all test-takers, according to Ms. Kathy Pivonka, director of guidance and college counselor.

To become Finalists, these seven seniors applied earlier this year, writing an essay, submitting additional academic information and forwarding a recommendation letter from their counselor.
