The Cathedral baseball program is hosting their Christmas Camp Dec. 21 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. and Dec. 22 from 9:30 a.m. to noon for kindergarten through eighth grade.

The camp will be held on campus in the Welch Activity Center and on the outdoor turf activity field, weather permiting, with a fee of $65. That fee includes a camp T-shirt. Baseball Head Coach Mr. Ed Freije ’99 suggests that the participants come dressed in their baseball gear and bring equipment. Freije, assistant coaches and current baseball players will serve as instructors.

Freije said he wanted to carry on the camp tradition when he became head coach. “We do a summer camp and a winter camp. It’s a great opportunity for our players to give back and work with the kids. It’s good for them and their patience and leadership skills,” he said
