Admissions office seeks Open House tour guides
Students should check their school email for more information
The admissions office is seeking current students to serve as tour guides at the Open House on Oct. 14. The event will start with Mass at 5 p.m. in the Welch Activity Center, and the Open House will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
If students wish to be a tour guide, they can fill out the form that Associate Director of Admissions Mrs. Beth Wissler sent out via email. Wissler said, “This is your opportunity to show off the school you love, to make a difference in a potential student’s life and to show off to future parents how wonderful our Cathedral students truly are.”
All prospective students and parents are welcome to attend, especially sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders. According to Wissler, the goal of the open house is to “introduce families to all that Cathedral has to offer, introduce them to faculty members and coaches, show them the building and outline what a student’s life would be like if they were to come here.”
Band, theater and choir students will be performing, football players will help out in the dining hall, and some students will assist with activities in their classrooms.
