The entire Irish family gathers to celebrate
School, now 103 years old, recognizes its founding
All students, faculty and staff celebrated the school’s 103rd birthday by gathering in the Welch Activity Center at 10 a.m. on Sept. 15.
As part of the birthday celebration, the school operated on an amended schedule, but all classes meeting. Activities included learning the traditional Irish blessing, coloring a birthday card and having students write a note to a teacher, coach, counselor or administrator who had provide support to them as a member of the Cathedral family.
Ice cream was to be delivered to all G period classes at the end of the day.
