The bookstore/spirit shop has settled into the new school year with extended hours two days a week.

Since the start of school the spirit shop’s hours have shifted to fit students’ daily schedule. Mrs. Joey Cobbs, a part-time employee of the spirit shop, said, “We do extend until 5:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays so that those who need to work can come in.” 

Hours for the current school year are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon. This allows students to stop in and pick up uniform shirts, pants and spirit wear during the school day, and parents can make the trip after work instead of worrying about what day to try and cram it into their late morning or early afternoon schedule, Cobbs said.
