Sept. 1 activity period will include class meetings
The new dining hall will provide one of the four venues
The Day 3 activity period on Sept. 1 will include class meetings in four locations on campus.
Religion teacher Mr. Ed Freije ‘99, who also serves as the interim dean of students, helps decide the plans for the activity periods. He wrote in an email to educators on Aug. 27 regarding the activity period on Sept. 1, “We are planning to get the seniors, juniors, sophomores and freshmen together for class meetings.” Freshmen will meet in Mimms Gym, sophomores in the Welch Activity Center, juniors in the auditorium and seniors in the new dining hall.
“These meetings will likely begin at 1:10, providing for check in/transition time from (Period) E, and students will remain in each space for an estimated 30 minutes,” Freije wrote.
