Prom ticket order deadline is April 13 at 11:59 p.m.
Event will be limited to members of the Senior Class
April 13 at 11:59 p.m. is the deadline for seniors to go online and to order prom tickets.
English teacher Ms. Laurie O’Brien, who serves as the Junior Class officer co-moderator, wrote in an email, “Just from talking to seniors, I think attendance will be high. They seem pretty enthusiastic about having prom, since we couldn’t have it last year.”
Tickets are $65, which includes dinner, dessert and parking for the seniors. To access ticket order information, seniors should check their school email for a message from English teacher and Junior Class co-moderator Mrs. Lisa Blamey.
Since the juniors are not included in prom this year due to Covid protocols, that gives the chance for the seniors to practice Covid protocols while at prom, which will take place on April 24 at the Children’s Museum. O’Brien said, “The Children’s Museum is a large venue with the opportunity to spread out, so if we have 200 or so seniors, we can practice social distancing. They have set up the dance floor to be able to spread out, and there are exhibits and activities throughout the venue, so we should not ever be in a crowded situation.”
