From Coach White: “I am excited for the upcoming season and thankful to be back on the field with our team again. It means a lot to me as a coach to be all together and working towards the common goal after last year, and we are all eager to start games. We have a lot of athleticism and many players who put in work in the off season to get better and more experience despite the loss of last season. I have a strong group of juniors and seniors who have been on varsity for two to three years, and I believe they will challenge their teammates and build them up to high level we are capable of playing at.
“We have a small team but a deep bench, and I look forward to see how each player will grow throughout the season, how they will lift up their teammates, and how they will impact the play of this team. I expect that playing and working together is how we will succeed.
“Every game is a key game this year. Without a season last year, no team necessarily has a step up and we don’t know what each team will bring. I believe we need to respect every team we face and prepare like it’s the biggest game of the season every game. That being said, our Sectional games are most important.”
