From Coach Noe: “The squad could be quite a nice surprise in the area for the 2021 season. With the season being canceled last spring of 2020, it obviously put a stop to a few great seniors’ careers. The 2021 squad members have a chance to become a Top 10 team. The team will probably start out ranked at around the Top 20.
“The potential is there for another solid season and we know that the girls have been working very hard and diligently during these past 10 months. In order for the season to go smoothly, Indiana tennis will have to follow the protocols that were put in place by the CDC and the IHSAA. Our goals as coaches this year is to not only measure success by wins and losses, but rather measure the success along with improvement and how to handle match play pressure against the top teams in Indiana high school tennis. Time and a lot of reps will make us nothing but better. The coaching staff is excited about the (team’s) potential.”
