Knights look to win another State championship
Hockey team will face off against Columbus on March 6
The Central Indiana Knights hockey team will once again look to capture the Class 2A State championship on March 6. This team consists of players from Guerin Catholic, Noblesville, Park Tudor and Cathedral.
Freshman forward Jack Bedich explained what some of the Knights’ keys to victory will be. “We just need to keep things simple and not try to do everything ourselves,” he said. Bedich mentioned fellow Cathedral teammates senior forward Owen Wright and sophomore forward Max Goodburn as other key players for the team.
Bedich noted the importance of relying on his fellow players. “If we want to win, we have got to trust our teammates,” he said.
The Knights will take on third-ranked Columbus in South Bend at 12:30 p.m. Coming into the game, the Knights have a record of 15-19-3, while Columbus comes in with a record of 13-14-2.
