With the conclusion of the season, the Indiana Football Coaches Association released its Top 50 all-state team. Given the  success of the Class 5A State champion Irish, it’s no surprise that two members of the varsity team were recognized.

According to the Indy Star, among the top players of the state are senior Camden Jordan, who played wide receiver, and senior Nathan McCahill at quarterback.

McCahill said, “It is an honor to be recognized as one of the top players in the state, but I couldn’t have done it without my teammates surrounding me. This season was so special because of the hard work all the players and coaches put in.”

Jordan said, “I am very thankful that we could even play football this year and we made the most of it. I am very proud of the whole team, but especially the 2021 class, and any individual award I receive is a team award in my eyes.”
