Director of campus ministry Mrs. Charlene Witka said she believes the educators’ Mass is necessary for the faculty. Witka said, “We think it’s important because first of all, we’re a Catholic school. We also feel it is important for the educators to come together to celebrate the liturgy.”

The Mass will take place on Dec. 10 at 7:30 a.m. in the auditorium and is mandatory for all administrators, teachers, faculty and staff.

Witka said, “We’re trying to do the educators’ Mass twice a year, once in the first semester and once second semester. We also had one at the beginning of the year.”

Because there is a late start on Dec. 10, daily schedules will not be affected and the Mass will be finished before the beginning of the day at 8:50 a.m.

Witka said, “It’s a real blessing for all of us to sit together and worship together as a community.”
