Evening of Excellence scheduled for Oct. 3

Event will honor school’s key contributors

Honoring those who have served is a tradition long held by the school. Following that idea, an Evening of Excellence to commemorate those dedicated to the success of the school will take place for the first time.

This night will be solely dedicated to honoring those who have been instrumental and influential within the Irish community. It will be used as an avenue to celebrate the school, and it will allow individuals to donate to the Cathedral Fund. The donations will go toward helping the school both in and outside of the classroom as well as providing tuition support.

There will be 19 inductees honored at the Evening of Excellence, with one of them being the beloved Super Sub, Mr. Thomas O’Brien ’49. This night is dedicated to people such as him who have been invaluable to both the school and the students on campus. A full list of the inductees is available at this link

The Evening of Excellence will take place Oct. 3 in the Welch Activity Center. The reception will begin at 5 p,m. followed by a buffet at 5:45m, with the program starting at 6:30.
