The National Honor Society is sponsoring a blood drive on Jan. 26 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Welch Activity Center.

In order to give, students must sign up online using the QR code in the student newsletter or on the flyer handed out during lunch. At the blood drive, each person will need to check in, show a photo ID, fill out a short questionnaire and get a quick checkup to make sure they are healthy enough to give.

National Honor Society faculty co-moderator Mrs. Beth Wissler said, “Every time a person gives blood, they are saving lives. Now more than ever, we need to step up and give.” She noted that hospitals are dangerously low on blood and are in dire need of donations.
