Seniors will gather on campus on Dec. 11 for a class bonfire.

All seniors are invited to a socially distanced bonfire on campus Dec. 11 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Senior Class co-moderator Mrs. Katie Lewis said, “Usually the Senior Class officers plan a Christmas dance for the freshmen, sophomores and juniors, but we can’t do that now, so hopefully we will postpone that dance (until) the spring but we wanted to do something for the seniors.”

There will be multiple bonfires – perhaps as many as 25, according to Lewis — around the campus, with no more than six students allowed to gather around each. To sign up with your group, see the link in the email from Lewis to the Senior Class. Everyone has to wear mask if not six feet apart. Seniors are allowed to bring their own chair and blanket.

During the bonfire, Christmas music will be played, hot chocolate will be served and an ugly sweater competition will take place.
